Mrunal Thakur Ex-Boyfriend’s Obsession with Looks
Mrunal Thakur spoke about the challenges of dating someone who struggled with her professional choices. “In the early days of my career, I was shooting with Hrithik Roshan for Super 30 and Shahid Kapoor for Jersey,” she said. “My ex, who was Scandinavian, became insecure seeing me work with attractive co-stars. He tried to ‘catch up’ with them by changing himself physically.”
She revealed that he initially lost around 15–17 kg, gained muscle, and attempted to match Bollywood’s standard of attractiveness. “Later, he gave up, started eating more, and put on 20 kg. He admitted he was tired of trying to catch up. I never asked him to lose weight—it was purely his insecurity,” said Mrunal.
