Physical Exam at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula from July 16-23 – HSSC Chairman, Himmat Singh

 

Chandigarh, July 14 –

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the schedule for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (height, chest, and weight) for candidates who have qualified for the Common Eligibility Test Group C under advertisement number 06/2024, Category No. 01, and have applied for 5000 Police Constable (GD) positions.

 

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman, Sh. Himmat Singh stated that the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted using digital display monitors in accordance with the police recruitment process standards issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Each candidate will be photographed and videographed on-site. The details of shortlisted candidates, PMT dates and times, and admit card information is available on the Commission’s website.

 

He mentioned that the first slot will begin at 6:30 AM, the second at 8:30 AM, the third at 10:30 AM, and the fourth at 12:30 PM, with 2000 candidates undergoing physical tests in each slot starting from July 16, 2024, at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. Each day will have 4 slots. On July 17, 3000 candidates will undergo physical tests, and from July 18 to 23, 5000 candidates will be tested daily.

 

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman, Sh. Himmat Singh appealed to male candidates not to bring mobile phones, electronic devices, hidden cameras, or other materials while appearing to the examination. Candidates should only bring the original documents of either Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, photo ID Voter Card, and proof of address, along with the scanned admit card downloaded from the Commission’s website and a pasted photograph. No other documents will be allowed at the test venue.

 

He also appealed to female candidates not to bring nose rings, earrings, or other materials. All candidates will undergo biometric and eye-metric verification before being allowed entry. If anyone other than the registered candidate is caught attempting the test, strict legal action will be taken, and an FIR will be filed.

 

He mentioned that the Commission’s team will be present on-site to resolve any issues or grievances candidates might have. Apart from this, coaches from the Sports Department will assist in conducting the physical tests.

 

Transportation Arrangements from Zirakpur Singhpura Bus Stand

The Chairman announced that Haryana Roadways buses will transport candidates from Zirakpur Singhpura Bus Stand to Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula. Candidates who wish to come by private vehicles can park near the Indian Oil Petrol Pump at Devinagar.

 

He further informed that special arrangements have been made at Tau Devi Lal Stadium for the PMT, including medical staff, ambulances, mobile toilets, water tankers, and waterproof tents.

 

They have clarified that candidates, six times the number of positions in the first schedule, have been called for the PMT examination. The schedule for the physical examination of female constables will be issued later.
