Haryana to Install Solar Systems in Schools Built in the Last Ten Years – Education Minister, Smt. Seema Trikha

Chandigarh, July 11 –

Haryana Minister of State for School Education, Smt. Seema Trikha, announced that solar systems will be installed in schools constructed in the past ten years. This initiative aims to reduce electricity expenses for schools while promoting efforts toward a cleaner environment.

Speaking as the Chief Guest at a School Management Committee event organized by the Education Department in Kurukshetra, Smt. Seema Trikha addressed teachers, committee officials, parents, and students. She emphasized that school management committees, with support from the education department, holds the potential to transform the education system and make significant difference in students’ lives.

She mentioned that families with an annual income of less than Rs. 1.8 lakh are being provided with fee concessions and other facilities. Smt. Trikha stated that Haryana has over 14,000 schools, all of which are providing quality education to students. On this occasion, she directly interacted with the officers of the school management committees and invited suggestions. Achievements of students will be prominently featured in the monthly booklet published by the Education Department. Earlier, she reviewed an exhibition of teaching aids set up by students. She encouraged both students and teachers to adopt innovations in education.

Kurukshetra City Magistrate, Dr. Raman Gupta and Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board Vice Chairman, Sh. Dhuman Singh Kirmach, among other dignitaries, were present on this occasion. In the coming days, special training and conferences with district-level school management committees will be organized across all districts of the state.
