New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Rai has strongly criticised the Union Education Minister, alleging serious mismanagement in key national examinations and failure to ensure a fair and transparent education system.
Rai said that instead of taking responsibility for alleged irregularities, the central government is removing senior officials such as the CBSE Chairman and Secretary, which he described as an attempt to shift blame rather than address the root cause of the problems.

Gopal Rai raised concerns over reported issues in several competitive examinations, including NEET, CBSE, SSC, and CUET. He claimed that repeated disruptions and controversies in these exams reflect systemic failures in the administration of the country’s education and recruitment systems.
According to him, such irregularities are causing uncertainty and stress among millions of students across India who depend on these examinations for higher education and employment opportunities.

Demand for Accountability in Education System
The AAP leader demanded that the Union Education Minister take moral responsibility for the ongoing issues instead of allowing lower-level officials to be held accountable. He said that leadership accountability is essential for restoring trust in the examination system.
Rai emphasised that merely replacing officials in educational boards will not resolve the deeper structural problems affecting exam governance.
Call for Reforms in Examination Process
He further called for comprehensive reforms in national examination bodies to ensure transparency, fairness, and efficiency. Rai stated that students deserve a stable and reliable system free from repeated controversies and administrative failures.

The central government has not yet issued a response to the latest comments made by the AAP leader.
