During a recent appearance on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s YouTube talk show Double Date, Aparshakti opened up about his early struggles and unexpected career journey. He recalled his time working as a stylist in Mumbai before he entered films.
The actor explained that styling was one of the first creative professions he explored after moving to the city. He even styled television hosts for popular Bollywood-related shows on a leading entertainment channel.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was his future plan. Aparshakti revealed, “I really wish that slowly I will say goodbye to whatever I am doing now. After 10–12 years, I want to learn tailoring—how to cut fabric and how to stitch it.”

Aparshakti Khurana also spoke about his early hustle in the entertainment industry. Before gaining recognition, he worked in radio and even had a stint at the Delhi High Court. He shared how he repeatedly reached out to casting directors and production houses, but initially received no responses.
Interestingly, he mentioned a turning point in his life after marriage, when long-forgotten messages suddenly started getting replies. He called it an unexpected shift in his career journey that changed everything for him.

Aparshakti Khurana made his Bollywood debut with the blockbuster film Dangal, which became one of the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide. He later appeared in popular movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Stree, and Luka Chuppi, earning appreciation for his strong supporting roles.
He also received critical acclaim for his performance in the period drama Jubilee, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Soumik Sen, where his acting depth was widely praised.
