Punjab Cabinet Minister Ravjot Singh addressed the NRI Milni Programme in Mohali, heard concerns of overseas Punjabis, and assured swift resolution of issues.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Ravjot Singh addressed an NRI Milni Programme organized in Mohali on Thursday, where he interacted with members of the Punjabi diaspora and listened to their concerns. During the event, he assured overseas Punjabis that their grievances would be addressed promptly and effectively by the state administration.
The programme witnessed the participation of several Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) who raised issues related to property disputes, administrative matters, and other concerns affecting Punjabis living abroad. Ravjot Singh held detailed discussions with departmental officials and directed them to ensure timely resolution of all genuine complaints.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravjot Singh said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, remains fully committed to safeguarding the interests of NRIs and strengthening their connection with their home state. He emphasized that overseas Punjabis have played a significant role in Punjab’s growth and development and deserve efficient support from government institutions.
Highlighting the government’s pro-NRI initiatives, Ravjot Singh stated that several measures have been introduced to make grievance redressal more transparent and accessible. He added that officials have been instructed to handle NRI-related cases on a priority basis to prevent unnecessary delays and inconvenience.
During the interactive session, members of the NRI community shared their suggestions and concerns regarding public services and administrative procedures. Ravjot Singh assured them that every issue would be reviewed carefully and resolved through a coordinated effort involving the concerned departments.
The Cabinet Minister reiterated that the Bhagwant Mann-led government is focused on building trust among overseas Punjabis and ensuring that their rights and interests are protected. Ravjot Singh also stressed the importance of regular dialogue between the government and the NRI community, stating that such programmes help bridge communication gaps and promote effective governance.
The Punjab Government continues to prioritize the welfare of overseas Punjabis, with initiatives aimed at resolving their issues swiftly and encouraging their participation in the state’s progress and development.
