 Minister of State for Sports, Environment, Forest, and Wildlife, Sh. Sanjay Singh, stated that the Tricolour is the pride and honour of our nation. It is the duty of every citizen to respect it.  He said that the present government has decided to organise ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in every village panchayat, and these yatras have filled the younger generation with a strong sense of patriotism.

The Sports Minister flagged off a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ yesterday evening from Ghamroj village to Alipur village in Gurugram. During the event, he also paid floral tributes to martyrs at the ‘Shaheed Smarak’.

Sh. Sanjay Singh stated that we must honour the martyrs, as they have sacrificed their lives for the nation’s protection.

He further stated that following the call of the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being conducted until August 15. He urged everyone to participate in this campaign and hoist the Tricolor at their homes.The credit for the country’s athletes performing better day by day also goes to Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. Initiatives like ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and marathons not only enhance the spirit of patriotism among the youth but also foster sportsmanship, he added.

Sarpanch, Ghamroj village, Smt. Sadhna, C.E.O, Zila Parishad. Jag Niwas, and other dignitaries also remained present during the Yatra.
