Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired the Arjun SPV Board Meeting in Chandigarh, where the annual action plan for 2026–27 under the Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD) was reviewed. The meeting focused on accelerating initiatives related to clean air, green transport, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainable urban development across Haryana.
During the Arjun SPV Board Meeting in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure the timely implementation of all approved projects and maximize the use of modern technology to improve environmental outcomes across the state.
AI and Technology to Strengthen Air Quality Management
A major focus of the Arjun SPV Board Meeting in Chandigarh was the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies for air quality management. Nayab Saini instructed officials to adopt AI-based monitoring systems that can provide real-time data and improve decision-making for pollution control.

He said technology-driven governance would play a crucial role in achieving sustainable development and making Haryana a cleaner and healthier state.
Dedicated Portal for Scrap Vehicle Registration and Disposal
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also directed officials to develop a dedicated online portal for the registration and scientific disposal of scrap vehicles. The portal will simplify the scrapping process while ensuring environmentally responsible disposal of old and polluting vehicles.

The initiative is expected to help reduce vehicular emissions and contribute significantly to cleaner air across Haryana.
Push for EV Charging Stations and Electric Bus Services
The Arjun SPV Board Meeting in Chandigarh also reviewed the progress of green mobility initiatives. Nayab Saini instructed departments to accelerate the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the state and ensure the timely completion of electric bus service projects.
Officials were further directed to complete works related to air quality management, stubble management, and AI-based monitoring systems within the prescribed timeframe to achieve the project’s objectives.
Government Reaffirms Commitment to a Clean and Green Haryana
Concluding the Arjun SPV Board Meeting in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the Haryana government’s commitment to implementing every project on schedule. He emphasized that clean air, sustainable infrastructure, and the adoption of innovative technologies remain central to the state’s development agenda.
He said the government’s vision is to build a clean, green, and future-ready Haryana, where technology and sustainable development go hand in hand to improve the quality of life for citizens.
