Vivo X300 FE gets its second price hike in India. The phone now starts at Rs 89,999, while a new 8GB variant is priced at Rs 84,999.
Vivo X300 FE: Vivo has increased the price of its premium smartphone in India for the second time since its launch. With the latest revision, the phone’s starting price has climbed to Rs 89,999, making the device significantly more expensive than its original launch price.
The company has also introduced a new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Interestingly, despite having less RAM, this version is still priced higher than what the original 12GB model cost at launch.
Vivo X300 FE New Price in India
The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Vivo X300 FE is now priced at Rs 89,999. It was previously available for Rs 86,999 following the first price increase, while its launch price was Rs 79,999.
This means the base variant has become Rs 10,000 more expensive compared with its original launch price.
Meanwhile, the 12GB+512GB version now carries a price tag of Rs 99,999. The model was launched at Rs 89,999 and later increased to Rs 96,999. With the latest hike, it is now only Rs 1,000 below the Rs 1 lakh mark.
New 8GB Variant Comes With a Surprise Price
Vivo has also expanded the lineup by adding an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The new model has been priced at Rs 84,999.
Although it is Rs 5,000 cheaper than the current 12GB+256GB variant, the new model is still Rs 5,000 more expensive than the original price of the 12GB+256GB version.
The unusual pricing makes the new variant an interesting option only for buyers who want to reduce the upfront cost while still getting the same storage capacity.

Vivo X300 FE Specifications
The Vivo X300 FE features a 6.31-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is aimed at delivering smoother scrolling, animations and gaming performance.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, positioning it in the flagship performance segment.
The device is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging as well as 40W wireless charging, giving users both fast charging and wireless charging options.
ZEISS Cameras for Photography
For photography, the smartphone comes with a ZEISS-backed camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera completes the rear camera setup. The combination is designed to provide users with multiple shooting options, including standard, zoom and wider-angle photography.
Why Has the Price Increased?
The latest Rs 3,000 increase comes at a time when smartphone manufacturers are facing higher memory component costs amid a global RAM supply crunch.
Vivo has reportedly revised the prices of several other smartphones in the Indian market as component costs continue to put pressure on manufacturers.
For the Vivo X300 FE, the two price revisions have significantly changed its positioning in the Indian premium smartphone market.
Vivo X300 FE Original vs New Price
At launch, the 12GB+256GB model was priced at Rs 79,999, while the 12GB+512GB variant cost Rs 89,999.
The first price revision increased their prices to Rs 86,999 and Rs 96,999, respectively. Following the latest Rs 3,000 increase, they now cost Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999.
This puts the top-end version just Rs 1,000 below the Rs 1 lakh price point.
Is the Vivo X300 FE Still Worth Buying?
The Vivo X300 FE continues to offer flagship-level specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a 120Hz display, a large 6,500mAh battery, fast wired and wireless charging, and ZEISS-backed cameras.
However, its price has moved considerably higher than the launch figure. Buyers considering the phone now need to decide whether these specifications justify spending up to Rs 10,000 more than the original price.
For consumers looking for a premium smartphone, the new pricing makes the X300 FE a more expensive proposition than it was at launch, while the newly added 8GB variant provides another entry point into the lineup.
