Don’t Be Shy Trailer Introduces Shy’s Complicated World
The 2-minute-32-second trailer introduces Aarushi Bajaj as Shyamili Das, affectionately known as Shy. She appears to have her future carefully planned, but her seemingly organised life begins to change when unexpected emotions and old relationships return.
Shy soon finds herself caught between two very different relationships. On one side is Mayank, played by Piyush Khati, who is wealthy and popular. On the other is Dhruv, portrayed by Ansh Duggal, her childhood friend with whom she has lost touch.
Things become even more complicated when Tara, played by Bianca Arora, enters Shy’s college life.

The story aims to capture the idea that even when life becomes confusing, people can eventually find their way back to who they truly are.

Aarushi Bajaj, who makes her mark as the central character, said playing Shy was both challenging and exciting because the character is very different from her own personality.
The actor revealed that stepping into Shy’s world pushed her beyond her comfort zone. She also felt responsible for bringing authenticity to the character and doing justice to her journey.

Don’t Be Shy will premiere on Prime Video on September 25 in Hindi with English subtitles. The film is co-produced by Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani.
