Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook an 11-day spiritual trip in preparation for the much awaited ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event at the Ram temple. This came after a series of strenuous religious practices. Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, provided insight into the painstaking customs, which involve sleeping on the floor, eating off of leaves, and reciting mantras.

Priest Acharya Satyendra Das told news agency ANI, “The person who does ‘anushthan’ has to do prayshchit (penance).” The rules state that he cannot lie and must sleep on the floor. He must eat on a leaf, bathe twice a day, recite mantras like the “Gayatri mantra,” and adhere to “Brahmacharya.” A Yajmana must adhere to these standards.”

PM Modi Consuming Only Coconut Water: Report

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Prime Minister Modi has reportedly followed stringent dietary and lifestyle restrictions throughout this time, according to sources cited by news agency PTI earlier. He has simply been drinking coconut water and sleeping on a blanket that is directly on the ground. According to PTI’s report, the Prime Minister has also actively engaged in a number of religious practises, such as gau-pooja (cow worship), as well as altruistic deeds like food donation and clothing distribution, all of which are in line with scriptural traditions.

Notably, Modi has visited several temples around the nation, including well-known locations like Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple in Kerala, Veerbhadra Temple in Lepakshi (Andhra Pradesh), and Ramkund and Shree Kalaram Temple in Nasik. During his two days in Tamil Nadu, he will also be visiting temples.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Additionally, the Prime Minister has started a campaign to clean the grounds of the Shree Kalaram Temple in Nasik, demonstrating his proactive approach to encouraging cleanliness at temples. Support for the #SwachhTeerthCampaign is strong.
