Actor Aamir Khan recently paid a moving homage to his late co-star Suhani Bhatnagar at her family’s home in Faridabad. One of his visit photos went viral on social media. Suhani Bhatnagar, who played a young Babita Phogat, died last Friday. She was nineteen years old.
Aamir Khan is pictured with Suhani’s parents and other family members, standing next to her framed portrait. Suhani played Aamir’s daughter in the well-known movie Dangal. Khan was Mahavir Singh Phogat’s actor.
Following the devastating news of Suhani’s untimely passing on Saturday, Aamir Khan Productions shared a heartfelt message on their X account. “We are so sorry to learn about our Suhani’s demise. We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player that Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her. You will always be a star in our hearts, Suhani. “May you find peace and rest,” the note said.
Suhani was receiving treatment for a rare inflammatory disease called Dermatomyositis at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in Delhi. Her mother claims that the left hand swelled two months ago, marking the start of the symptoms.
Suhani’s mother Pooja Bhatnagar spoke with ANI on Sunday, describing how Aamir grew to be close to the family and even invited them to Ira Khan’s wedding.
“Aamir Sir always maintained in touch with her. He is a kind individual. We didn’t inform him about her sickness as we were already really upset. We didn’t tell anyone and we kept it to ourselves. We could have even texted him, and he would have answered right away and given us a call. From the moment he met Suhani, he clicked with her. We just even got an official invitation to his daughter’s wedding. She claimed, “He even gave us a call to tell us that we had to leave.
