Additionally, efforts in education include transforming 118 government schools into Schools of Eminence and sending teachers abroad for training.
CM Bhagwant Mann also highlighted achievements in agriculture, with canal water usage for irrigation rising from 21% to 75%, benefiting farmers. He introduced the “Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” initiative, offering doorstep delivery of 43 essential services.
In terms of economic growth, Punjab has attracted ₹94,000 crore in investments, with major companies establishing operations. The state has also launched the Mukh Mantri Teerth Yatra Scheme, allowing citizens free pilgrimage travel, and introduced the Sadak Surakhya Force, which has reduced highway accident fatalities by 48.1%.
Arvind Kejriwal praised the government’s transformative initiatives and vowed continued focus on uplifting weaker sections, combating corruption, and eradicating drug-related issues, ensuring Punjab’s progress and prosperity.
