AAP Gujarat President Isudan Gardhvi holds review meeting in Navsari ahead of municipal elections, urging corruption-free governance and development.
In a significant political development, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat President Isudan Gardhvi conducted a detailed review meeting in Navsari ahead of the upcoming Navsari Municipal Corporation elections. The meeting was attended by senior AAP leaders, including South Gujarat Zone President Ram Dhaduk, along with party officials and workers.
Speaking to the media, Isudan Gardhvi highlighted the challenges faced by Navsari residents under the long-standing BJP administration. According to Gardhvi, BJP leaders have failed in administrative management, and public funds are being misused in corruption. “The arrogance of these leaders makes them believe that the public cannot manage without them, and this attitude is causing serious hardships for the people,” he said.
He also criticized the inefficient use of resources in the city, citing the demolition drives and irregular water supply. “If the Water Resources Minister C.R. Patil’s department supplies water only once in 45 days, one can imagine the condition of basic amenities. Overall, the development Navsari deserves has not been achieved. Citizens are being burdened with continuous taxes, which are reportedly set to double after elections. Roads, water, drainage, and inflation-related issues remain unresolved, and women still lack free bus travel facilities,” Gardhvi added.

Gardhvi urged the people of Navsari to consider a strong alternative in AAP. He emphasized that Delhi’s AAP government has provided 300 units of free electricity and set a model for other states, forcing even BJP-ruled regions to follow suit. He stated that if AAP forms the municipal corporation in Navsari, residents can expect a corruption-free administration, proper utilization of funds over five years, and unprecedented civic facilities.
Highlighting AAP’s achievements in Punjab, Gardhvi said, “In just three years, Punjab’s AAP government has delivered remarkable results, winning 87% of local seats. Free electricity and water, construction of schools, 43,000 km of roads, a drug-free environment, employment for youth, and 56,000 government jobs without bribery or paper leaks have transformed the state.”
Gardhvi further appealed to the people of Navsari to rise above vote-bank politics, casteism, and regional favoritism and focus on development-oriented governance. He confirmed that preparations for the upcoming municipal elections are underway and that AAP’s candidate selection process will begin within the next fifteen days.
