AAP strengthens Panthic service in Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann and Kejriwal present vision at Shri Anandpur Sahib during state-level Shaheedi Diwas.
Punjab’s political landscape is witnessing a significant shift as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) strengthens its focus on Panthic service and development. During the state-level Shaheedi Diwas held at Shri Anandpur Sahib, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal presented their vision for Panth Seva and state development to the Sangat.
CM Mann announced that next year, the 351st state-level Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Sahib will again be celebrated on the sacred land of Shri Anandpur Sahib. At the same time, all three Takhts in Punjab have been officially recognized as spiritual corridors, receiving the status of holy cities.
The 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was commemorated with a series of memory programs, culminating on Tuesday with a large-scale state-level event organized by the Punjab government. During the event, several key announcements were made focusing on social welfare, education, healthcare, and Panthic initiatives.
For the first time, AAP is strengthening its Panthic politics in Punjab, a domain previously dominated by Shiromani Akali Dal. Over its nearly four-year tenure, the party has worked to build a strong foundation in Panthic service while also creating a roadmap for its political comeback in the 2027 assembly elections.
During the “Sarbat Da Bhala” congregation at Shri Anandpur Sahib, prayers were offered for AAP’s success in 2027 and for CM Bhagwant Mann’s leadership. On the stage, Kejriwal highlighted the achievements of the Mann government, emphasizing development while including all sections of society. He stated that education and healthcare standards in Punjab have improved significantly, employment is now merit-based, 90% of the population receives free electricity, and after 70 years, irrigation water has reached the last tail of canals.
Kejriwal assured the Sangat that the AAP government is not in Punjab to accumulate wealth but to earn spiritual merit. “We are here not to build mansions but to seek the blessings of the Sangat. Our goal is the prosperity and welfare of Punjab and the upliftment of the community,” he said.
Both Mann and Kejriwal addressed the congregation, emphasizing that AAP is committed to genuine service of the Panth and not merely political rule. Ministers present on the stage, including Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, MP Malvinder Kang, Tourism Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund, and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, sought blessings from the Sangat, promising to remain devoted to serving the people and the Panth.
This event clearly demonstrated that AAP is positioning itself as a party devoted to Panthic service and social welfare, while also strategically preparing its roadmap for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
