During the protest, AAP leaders and workers raised slogans against the Akali Dal Badal and BJP, alleging that both parties were conspiring to defame the Punjab government due to the growing popularity of its development agenda.
Mohinder Bhagat stated that the opposition is frustrated by the developmental work carried out under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and therefore, they are allegedly spreading misinformation and political propaganda across the state.
He further added that the people of Punjab are fully aware of such tactics and will not be misled by any kind of negative campaigning. According to him, the AAP government remains focused on development, governance reforms, and public welfare initiatives.
The protest witnessed participation from several senior AAP leaders and party workers who gathered in large numbers in Jalandhar and other districts of Punjab. They warned that if such alleged conspiracies and misinformation campaigns continue, the party would intensify its agitation at a larger scale.
The demonstration reflects the growing political tension in Punjab, where ruling and opposition parties are increasingly engaged in sharp exchanges over governance and development issues.
