Amit Shah
Amit Shah, the union home minister, referred to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress in Katihar, Bihar, as “jungle raj” on Sunday.
Using the term “jungle raj” to describe the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Katihar, Bihar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah attacked them on Sunday, claiming that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) wanted to abolish reservations, putting the state in a “lantern age.”
He claimed that the NDA was in charge of carrying out reservations and that the Congress and former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav were against the Mandal and Kalelkar commissions.
Amit Shah added, “Lalu-Rabri rule brought jungle raj while Modiji brought change by ending dynastic politics,” during a campaign gathering in support of Dulal Chandra Goswami, the United Progressive Party’s nominee.
TEJASHWI YADAV MADE FUN AT THE BJP’S “400 PAAR,” SAYING IT “BECAME A FLOP ON THE VERY FIRST DAY.”
He argued that the poor, the backward, and the OBCs had been treated unfairly by the father-son team of Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav, and that injustice had only been eliminated with the election of the NDA administration. “Congress, which has been against backward classes, is sitting on the laps of both father and son, Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi,” he remarked.
Amit Shah made reference to remarks made on Kashmir by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, saying, “What Congress could not do in 70 years, we did in 10 years… Bihar and Rajasthan are unrelated to Kashmir, according to Kharge.
On August 5, 2019, Article 370 was revoked, and Kashmir became an essential part of India, according to Shah. Terrorism and naxalism were curbed.
In reference to the surgical strikes carried out by his government, Shah stated, “Humlog Pakistan me ghus kar marenge.” (We will enter Pakistan to eliminate terrorists if they flee there.)
Shah resisted criticism after Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, made similar remarks. He declared, “India is safe and secure under Modi’s rule.”
According to Amit Shah, the BJP introduced the women’s reservation bill, which grants a 33% reservation. The Modi administration is providing the impoverished with free rations, free health insurance, free LPG for low-income women, and free housing and bathrooms.
“Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given you electricity, but he (Lalu Prasad Yadav) wants to push you to the lantern age,” remarked Shah, continuing his jab at Lalu Prasad Yadav. In Bihar, Nitish ji is operating with great efficiency.
He declared, “We have had a full majority for ten years, but we have never abused the power of majority—rather, we have used it to serve people.”
At the Katihar event, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who did not share the dais with the Prime Minister during his April 16 election rallies in Gaya and Purnea, did share it with Shah.
Nitish Kumar stated, “There was a 15-year pati-patni rule (wife-husband rule, referring to Lalu–Rabri) after Congress rule in Bihar.” Since 1995, I have been a part of BJP. There is no left or right anymore; I am here to stay.
Chittaranjan Gagan, a state spokesperson for the RJD, claimed that BJP politicians frequently spout falsehoods while being silent on important topics like reducing poverty, unemployment, or inflation. Shah, the home minister, is bringing up jungle raj. During the RJD’s tenure in office, social justice was brought about by giving the weaker and disadvantaged groups—who had no political representation and had never ever considered it—more influence. That is “jungle raj” in the eyes of the BJP, Gagan claimed.
