Municipal Corporation Greater : On the instructions of Municipal Corporation Greater Commissioner Rukmani Riyad, on Wednesday, action was taken by the teams of Municipal Corporation Greater to remove unauthorized and illegal aerial cables and unauthorized self-built poles.
In view of organizing the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024, Municipal Corporation Greater is continuously making efforts to make the city clean and beautiful. Under this, the action was started by the teams of Municipal Corporation Greater from Lakshmi Mandir Tirahe from 10 am on Wednesday. In Malviya Nagar Zone, Jagatpura Zone, Sanganer Zone, this action was taken jointly by Deputy Commissioner Revenue I, Licenses, Hoarding Branch, Garage Branch, Electricity Branch and Vigilance Branch. This action will continue on Thursday also.
Under the action, Bharat Setu Flyover to Sahakar Marg, Sahakar Marg to Tonk Road, Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 via Abhimanyu Marg, JLN Marg to Jawahar Circle, Jawahar Circle to Terminal-1, All crossings/unauthorized/unlawful aerial cables were removed from Terminal 2, from the wire code to Sanganer flyover and other main routes, along with unauthorized poles were also removed.
The Commissioner said that such action is being taken continuously by the Corporation but the action related to unauthorized removal of aerial cable against rules will be taken immediately.Only after this, various telecom service provider companies and other digital cable service providers illegally lay the aerial cables again on the electric poles of the corporation located at the action sitesTherefore, such places will be patrolled by the home guards of the vigilance team. So that after the action, aerial cables cannot be laid illegally on the said routes by any of the various telecom service provider companies and other digital cable service providers.
He said that along with the action to remove the aerial cables installed by various companies without permission, legal action will also be taken against the concerned service provider company.
