The agricultural tunnel's voluntary load disclosure scheme, known as Scheme 2024, was introduced by the Haryana government.

The government of Haryana has initiated the Voluntary Disclosure Scheme-2024 to allow agricultural users to report any unapproved tubewell connections.

The Voluntary Load Disclosure Scheme-2024 for agricultural tubewell connections for the state’s agricultural users has been introduced by the Haryana government. In order to boost their load under this arrangement, clients will need to deposit Rs 100 per kilowatt. In addition, their load would be regularized without incurring any penalties, and the customary service connection cost of Rs 1500 per BHP will be removed. The time frame for this plan is July 1, 2024 – July 15, 2024.

Dr. Saket Kumar, Managing Director of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, made this statement today. He mentioned that the department has released a circular concerning the plan to increase the load of tubewell connections. Agricultural customers must pay off all outstanding bills in order to apply for this program. Through the UHBVN portal, customers can seek to disclose the extended load of their tubewell motors. Applicants are not required to share information on the portal on the efficiency or star rating of the installed motor. No affidavit or terms and conditions form needs to be submitted. Customers are required to submit a self-declaration form for the extended load together with an advance consumption deposit (security) in lieu of a test report, per current guidelines.

He added that after the applicant deposits the necessary advance consumption deposit (security) and applies on the corporation portal, the load extension will be regarded as regular as of the date of application. At its own cost, the company will immediately replace any necessary transformers, service cables, or existing equipment. Furthermore, this method also applies to flat-rate customers, so long as they choose metered supply over flat-rate supply.

In an appeal to all farmers, the Managing Director permitted any unauthorized load to be placed on their agricultural tube wells in order to benefit from this government program. The company will be able to give them a better supply of electricity thanks to this action.
