Domestic flights from Hisar airport to be launched in Aug

Starting in August, the Maharaja Agrasen airport in Hisar will host domestic flights operated by the state government to other regions of the nation. This was said by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today at a Panchkula event hosted by the Civil Aviation Department.
He claimed that the new project would strengthen the state economy and provide accessibility to air travel for the populace.

To manage the activities, the Aviation Department and Alliance Air Aviation Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has already granted it the licenses required for the activities.

Together with Chief Minister Saini, civil aviation minister Dr Kamal Gupta was present. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Satish Kumar Singla, Additional Director, Civil Aviation Department, and Ranjan Kumar Dutta, Head of Network Planning, Alliance Air Aviation Limited.

The aircraft operating out of Hisar would connect to Ayodhya, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Jammu, according to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

“The new step will give a big boost to the state’s economy,” he continued. For the civil aviation industry in Haryana, today is significant. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alliance Air has created additional opportunities to achieve the more ambitious objectives of developing Hisar into an integrated aviation hub. The state’s economy will benefit from the increased air connectivity, he said, adding that the last few airport formalities would be resolved shortly.

Saini also discussed the Yamuna water supply to Delhi. He claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi Government had failed to provide water for the populace in the midst of the city’s water crisis. “In an attempt to clean up the Yamuna, the AAP asked for votes from the public, but they were unsuccessful. The availability of clean water in Delhi in 2024 is identical to that in 2014. Although we are giving Delhi the required amount of water, they are unable to set up a suitable distribution infrastructure there.
