Vikas Bahl’s horror film Shaitaan released at the box office on March 8 and received positive reviews from viewers and critics. After a long time, Hindi horror films have made their mark and are creating a storm at the box office. The film has a strong performance by R Madhavan as the villain and Ajay Devgn in the lead role. On its opening day, the film grossed Rs 14.50 crore in all languages in India. Now this movie is preparing to enter Rs 150 crore club.
Shaitaan joined the Rs 100 crore club at the domestic box office a few days ago. It’s in its third week at the box office right now. Although the movie’s revenue slightly decreased, it is still quite successful. It made Rs 81.60 crore, according to reports in Bollywood Hungama, while its second week’s receipts came in at Rs 117.68 crore.
On the eighteenth day, Shaitaan might make Rs 3.21 crore, according to Sacnilk estimates. It is believed that the joyous atmosphere of Holi may have played a part in the film’s box office haul and triumph. The film has currently earned a net total of Rs 128.76 crore and might possibly surpass Rs 150 crore. Shaitaan is among the highest grossing films in its third week, and if rumors are to be believed, it might continue to do so till Eid.
Panorama Studios International, Ajay Devgn Films, and Jio Studios produce an adaptation of the Gujarati film Vash, Shaitaan. Producing the horror drama are Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Jyoti Deshpande, and Ajay Devgn. Devi Sri Prasad is in charge of the music division.
Starring in Shaitaan are Anngad Raaj, Janki Bodiwala, Jyotika, R Madhavan, and Ajay Devgn. After 25 years, this is Jyotika’s debut Bollywood film. The actress made her feature film debut opposite Akshaye Khanna in Doli Saja Ke Rakhna in 1997. She entered the Tamil film business, solidifying her status as one of the South’s most productive actresses. In 2001, she also starred in the bilingual film Little John.
