The zombie thriller, based on Joo Dong Geun’s webtoon, was a global sensation in 2022, racking up over 560 million viewing hours in its first month alone. The story, which originally followed high school students trapped in a zombie-infested Hyosan, now moves to a broader stage — Seoul — with new survivors and evolved undead threats.
This time, the spotlight falls on Nam On Jo (Park Ji Hu), now a university student. She returns as a lead character, navigating a deadlier version of the virus and bigger moral dilemmas. Several fan-favorite characters will also make a comeback, including Cheong San (Yoon Chan Young), Nam Ra (Cho Yi Hyun), and Su Hyeok (Lomon).
Adding even more excitement, Netflix has confirmed the addition of two Squid Game stars — Kim Si Eun and Roh Jae Won — to the ensemble. They’re joined by Lee Min Jae (Weak Hero: Class 2) and Yoon Ga I (Undercover High School), playing all-new roles created for the sequel’s timeline.
Although fans are still waiting on the All of Us Are Dead Season 2 release date, the platform’s announcement — including a full cast reveal and synopsis — strongly hints that an official premiere window is just around the corner.
