Amaal Mallik Avoids Questions
A video circulating on social media shows a reporter trying to question Amaal about the allegations. What Triggered the Controversy?
The dispute began when Amaal, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, claimed that Sachet–Parampara had used one of his melodies as a reference for Bekhayali. He mentioned that he had shared the tune with the duo over WhatsApp.
However, Sachet–Parampara denied the allegations in a detailed social media video. They presented chat screenshots showing that Amaal had only sent them compliments and praised their work, but did not provide any tune. The duo emphasized that every melody, arrangement, and lyric of Bekhayali was entirely their own creation.
Sachet–Parampara Demand Apology
Labeling Amaal’s claims as “misleading,” Sachet–Parampara demanded a public apology, stating that the composer himself brought the matter into the public eye. They also warned that legal action would be taken if an apology is not issued.
So far, neither Amaal nor his team has released an official statement addressing the issue. The controversy comes shortly after Amaal’s stint on Bigg Boss 19, where he finished in fifth place.
