AAP Punjab President Aman Arora Urges Youth to Embrace Values of Justice and Equality Inspired by Bhagwan Parshuram
Punjab Cabinet Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) State President Aman Arora today encouraged the youth to follow the path of justice, righteousness, and equality as shown by Bhagwan Parshuram Ji to help create a just and harmonious society.
Addressing a state-level function at KMV College, Jalandhar, organized by the Punjab Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs on the occasion of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti, Arora congratulated the public and expressed pride in the state government for celebrating the festival at such a scale for the first time. He also commended the department for organizing the historic event in Jalandhar.
Calling Bhagwan Parshuram Ji a symbol of devotion and strength, Arora said his teachings on standing up against injustice are especially meaningful today. He also announced that a chowk in Jalandhar will soon be named in Bhagwan Parshuram Ji’s honor.
The Minister reiterated the state government’s dedication to hosting such cultural and religious events to connect the younger generation with India’s rich heritage, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting the country’s spiritual and cultural legacy.
Tourism and Cultural Affairs Advisor Deepak Bali welcomed the guests and praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership in initiating the celebration. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, Advisor Bali, MLA Raman Arora, Jalandhar Improvement Trust Chairperson Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal.
Keynote speakers shared insights on Bhagwan Parshuram’s life and values, urging youth to embody his principles. Several distinguished members of the Brahmin community, including Surdarshan Sharma, Dr. V.K. Vasudev, Rajinder Sharma, Vinod Kumar Dutta, and Bharat Bhushan Sharma, were also felicitated for their service in health and education. The program concluded with a devotional Aarti in honor of Bhagwan Parshuram Ji.
