Archana, accompanied by her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, had booked tickets for an indoor skydiving experience at iFly Dubai. However, upon arrival, they were shocked to find no reservation under their name.
“We had booked three slots in iFly Dubai, but this lady is saying that we have no booking,” Archana said, visibly upset. “We have been scammed because the website where we made the payment is not theirs. We have already paid and the tickets are not cheap… Dubai mein hamare paise doob gaye (We lost our money in Dubai). I never expected this to happen in Dubai, there are such strict rules and laws. People are scared of doing such things.”
Her husband, actor and filmmaker Parmeet Sethi, expressed his disbelief, saying, “I am shocked… Thousands of rupees are (gone)… Pata chale yahi scam hai (What if it turns out that this is also a scam).”
Their son Aaryamann admitted he had some doubts during the booking process. “When I was booking the tickets, the website showed 4 minutes for the ride, but when it redirected to another page, it changed to 2 minutes. I had a doubt, but I thought a scam couldn’t happen on a main website,” he explained.
Archana Puran Singh, a familiar face on The Great Indian Kapil Show, continues to share her life’s ups and downs with her fans. This recent experience serves as a reminder to be extra cautious while booking tickets online, even from seemingly trusted sources.
