In a recent conversation, Arjun Das confirmed that he had received a call from Farhan Akhtar regarding Don 3. The actor said they subsequently met and discussed the role.

Following Ranveer’s departure, reports emerged about a financial dispute involving the actor, Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani. The reported compensation figure was around ₹45 crore.
The matter was subsequently discussed at industry associations, including the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA).
Reports also stated that FWICE had issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer before withdrawing it. Later, Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, reportedly appeared before the association and challenged the compensation demand.
Future of Don 3 Remains Unclear
With Ranveer Singh no longer attached and the project having gone through several reported production hurdles, the casting and future direction of Don 3 remain unclear.
