PM Modi
During a significant speech at the Kashi Tamil Sangamam, PM Modi used real-time AI translation to interact with the audience. In his first foray into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI), Modi advised Tamil Nadu residents to use earbuds for an AI-assisted translation experience during the event on Sunday. The prime minister expressed hope about artificial intelligence’s potential and said it will help with better public communication.
This was my initial encounter. I’ll use it later on, and you’ll have to answer. I’m speaking in Hindi now, as usual, and AI will translate it to Tamil,” Modi said.
Modi emphasized the occasion’s cultural significance and the special relationship between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. “To travel from Tamil Nadu to Kashi is to travel from one of Mahadev’s homes to another. “To travel from Tamil Nadu to Kashi is to travel from Madurai Meenakshi’s location to Kashi Vishalakshi’s location,” he said.
Currently taking place from December 17 until the end of the month, Kashi Tamil Sangamam is attended by 1,400 dignitaries from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. The occasion will feature an exhibition exhibiting the wide range of art, music, handloom, handicrafts, cuisines, and other distinctive products from both Tamil Nadu and Varanasi, in addition to cultural exchange programs.
Collaboration with a number of ministries and departments, including those in charge of culture, tourism, railways, textiles, food processing, MSME, information and broadcasting, skill development and entrepreneurship, IRCTC, and related Uttar Pradesh government departments, is evident at this event, which is overseen by the Union Ministry of Education.
