AAP Punjab leader Baltej Pannu accused the BJP and Congress of making baseless allegations over the NEET paper leak while claiming action in the Faridkot case.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab General Secretary and Media In-charge Baltej Pannu has strongly criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress over the NEET paper leak controversy, accusing both parties of making baseless allegations against AAP to divert attention from the larger issue.
In a statement, Pannu said that instead of accepting responsibility and ensuring accountability, both the ruling BJP at the Centre and the Congress, which previously governed the country, are attempting to shift the focus by targeting the Aam Aadmi Party.
Claims Action Has Been Taken in Faridkot Case
Baltej Pannu stated that strict action has already been initiated in connection with the Faridkot cheating case, while investigations into the remaining aspects of the matter are still underway.
He maintained that the concerned authorities are following due legal procedures and that further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.

Calls for Focus on Students’ Future
The AAP leader said that examination integrity is directly linked to the future of lakhs of students and should not become a tool for political confrontation. According to him, all stakeholders should focus on strengthening the education system and ensuring transparency in competitive examinations.
He added that restoring public confidence in the examination process should be the priority.
Sharp Criticism of BJP and Congress
Pannu alleged that both the BJP and Congress are trying to escape accountability by levelling allegations against AAP. He also claimed that repeated examination irregularities and the mental stress faced by students have become major concerns that require serious attention.
He further asserted that the public is aware of the political responsibility surrounding such issues and expects meaningful reforms rather than blame games.
Investigation Continues
Baltej Pannu reiterated that the investigation into the matter is ongoing and that authorities are committed to taking action against anyone found guilty. He said the government remains focused on ensuring fairness, transparency, and the protection of students’ interests.
