The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 are all set to celebrate the best of Indian cricket, with a grand ceremony scheduled in New Delhi on March 15. The awards will honour the outstanding achievements of both current and former cricketers, as well as domestic performers and coaches, making it one of the most anticipated events in Indian cricket this year.
India’s Test and ODI captain, Shubman Gill, will be awarded the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for the 2024–25 season. This marks the second consecutive time that Gill has received this honour, highlighting his consistent performances on the international stage. In the women’s category, Smriti Mandhana will receive the Polly Umrigar Award for the fifth time, solidifying her status as one of India’s finest women cricketers.
The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 will also acknowledge legendary contributions to Indian cricket. Former stalwarts Rahul Dravid and Roger Binny will be bestowed with the Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest recognition from the BCCI, in honour of their remarkable careers and dedication to the sport. Meanwhile, former India women’s captain Mithali Raj will receive the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women, recognising her exceptional role in promoting women’s cricket and inspiring generations of female cricketers.

In addition to international achievements, domestic cricket performances will also be recognised at the BCCI Naman Awards 2026. Young talents like Ayush Mhatre from Mumbai will be awarded the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in Domestic Limited Overs Competitions. Similarly, Harsh Dubey from Vidarbha will receive the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in the Ranji Trophy. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will also be honoured for its outstanding performance in BCCI domestic tournaments, finishing with four trophies and runner-up positions in two more competitions during the season.
The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 will also commemorate the achievements of India’s ICC trophy-winning teams, adding a special touch to this year’s event.
