Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has extended an open invitation to citizens to participate in a three-day series of events being held at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25, commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
In a post shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Mann urged people to join the observances with humility, saying the state welcomes everyone to be part of the historic occasion dedicated to “Hind di Chadar” — a revered title for the Ninth Sikh Guru, known for his sacrifice to uphold religious freedom and human values.

The commemorative programmes are being organized by the Punjab Government and are expected to draw devotees, dignitaries, and visitors from across the region. The events will take place at Sri Anandpur Sahib, a spiritually significant city founded by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and closely associated with Sikh heritage.
According to the Chief Minister’s message, the state aims to honor the universal message of peace, courage, and humanity embodied by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Cultural presentations, religious ceremonies, and special gatherings are likely to be part of the schedule.
The 350th martyrdom year is being marked with observances across Punjab and other parts of the country, reflecting the profound legacy of the Guru, who laid down his life in 1675.
