In his tribute, the Chief Minister described Shaheed Udham Singh as one of the nation’s greatest revolutionary heroes, whose determination to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre became a defining chapter in India’s freedom struggle. He said the martyr’s sacrifice for the dignity, unity and honour of the nation continues to inspire every Indian.
Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that Shaheed Udham Singh’s life symbolises patriotism, bravery and an uncompromising fight against injustice. He noted that the revolutionary dedicated his life to ensuring that the victims of the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy received justice, leaving behind a legacy of courage that remains relevant even today.

The Chief Minister said Punjab has always been the land of brave sons and daughters who made extraordinary sacrifices for the country’s freedom. He added that Shaheed Udham Singh’s fearless spirit and devotion to the nation will forever motivate the youth to serve the country with honesty, courage and commitment.
Mann further said that the martyr’s supreme sacrifice for the indivisible honour of India occupies a permanent place in the nation’s history.
