Rising Rajasthan : BIP trains nodal officers to smoothly operate MoU Implementation Portal RajNivesh, track progress on investment proposals in real-time
In line with the objective of smoothly facilitating the implementation of MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit -2024, the Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), Government of Rajasthan’s nodal agency for investment promotion, conducted a training session today. The session that saw the participation from the representatives of various government departments focused on imparting training on smoothly operating the MoU Implementation Portal RajNivesh, efficiently tracking the progress on the proposed projects and updating the same on the portal for the perusal of other departments.
The nodal officials from key departments such as Health, Mining, Tourism, RIICO, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), Urban Development & Housing (UDH), Rajasthan Pollution Control Board (RPCB) among others participated in the training.
Speaking on the significance of the training session, Shri Sourabh Swami, Additional Commissioner, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), Government of Rajasthan, said, “Under the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister, all departments have been directed to speedily process the MoUs, establish a healthy dialogue with the investors and update the details on the progress of the MoU on the portal. The nodal officials were trained on the entire life cycle framework of an investment proposal.”
The real-time updates on the portal will not only help multiple departments know the current status of the project but also allow the investors to keep a track on the progress on their proposed projects. During the training, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was duly explained to the officials with the help of screenshots. While a number of officials attended the training in person, another section of officials partook in the training virtually.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had inaugurated the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 on December 9th. Record investment proposals worth INR 35 lakh crore were signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 organised under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma.
CM Shri Sharma during the summit had also announced that the government will take dedicated efforts to convert the signed proposals into running projects and publicly announce the progress made on the signed MoUs in the next 12 months.
