Delhi court exposes BJP misuse of agencies to target AAP leaders. Gopal Rai calls verdict historic, highlighting justice and democracy in India.
Gopal Rai, the Gujarat in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), described the recent Delhi court verdict as a historic decision, exposing BJP misuse of agencies to target political opponents. Speaking to the media, Rai highlighted that the court has sent a strong message that while truth may be challenged, it can never be defeated.
Historic Court Verdict Against False Cases
Gopal Rai emphasized that both Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, along with several AAP leaders, were falsely imprisoned in cases manufactured by the BJP-led central government. He stated, “The so-called ‘liquor scam’ was in reality a CBI scam orchestrated to harass elected leaders, demonstrating clear BJP misuse of agencies over two years to suppress AAP and manipulate public perception.”

According to Rai, the court explicitly noted that the CBI failed to present any credible evidence against the leaders, and no financial wrongdoing was found. This ruling exposes the BJP’s attempt to politically benefit from false allegations and propaganda campaigns.
BJP Misuse of Agencies Across Gujarat
Rai further stated that the pattern of BJP misuse of agencies is not limited to Delhi. In Gujarat, AAP leaders and local representatives, including farmers and village heads, have faced harassment through fabricated cases and police intimidation. He condemned these actions, emphasizing that attempts to suppress public voices through power and agencies will no longer succeed.
“Even during the 2022 elections, BJP tried to stop AAP’s growth by filing false cases and spreading propaganda. Their attempt to control elected leaders through agency misuse has now been completely exposed,” Rai added.
Message for the Government
Gopal Rai also sent a clear message to the ruling BJP: governments must work for the people and not exploit agencies to silence opposition voices. He said, “The court’s verdict proves that justice is alive, and this ruling is a beacon of hope not just for AAP but for the entire democratic framework of India. The misuse of agencies for political gains, which BJP relied upon, will no longer succeed.”
