The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is in the final stages of declaring the CBSE 12th Result 2026. While an official time has not been confirmed, the appearance of a “Coming Soon” banner on DigiLocker suggests that digital marksheets are currently being uploaded and could be released today, May 11, or tomorrow, May 12, 2026.
Latest Updates on CBSE Class 12 Results
CBSE 12th Result 2026: The board is expected to release the results for Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams simultaneously. Approximately 18.5 lakh students appeared for the exams held from February 17 to April 10, 2026.
DigiLocker Hint: The official DigiLocker X (formerly Twitter) handle and portal have updated their status to “Coming Soon,” which historically happens 24–48 hours before the official link activation at results.cbse.nic.in.

On-Screen Marking (OSM): For the 2026 session, CBSE utilized an advanced digital evaluation system to minimize errors and expedite the result preparation process compared to previous years.
How to Check: To access the scorecard, students must have their Roll Number, School Number, Date of Birth, and Admit Card ID ready. The result will be available on the UMANG app, SMS services, and IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System).
APAAR ID Integration: Students with an APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) will see their verified marksheets automatically pushed to their DigiLocker accounts upon declaration.
No Toppers List: Consistent with its recent policy to prevent “unhealthy competition,” CBSE is not expected to release an official merit list or toppers’ names, though it will award merit certificates to the top 0.1% of scorers in each subject.
