Sports Minister : Haryana Minister of State for Sports, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the central and state governments are committed to upliftment of Antyodaya and the welfare of the poor. The government is formulating Antyodaya schemes to raise the living standard of the poor.
The Sports Minister said this while addressing the programme organized on the occasion of Sain Jayanti held at KC Vatika in Palwal and the oath-taking ceremony organized at the All India Maithili Brahmin Association as the chief guest.
He said that basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter are being provided to the poor on a priority basis by the government. He emphasized that government schemes are being formulated with the poor at the center to ensure they derive maximum benefit and uplift their standard of living.
Sh. Gaurav Gautam further said that the state government is carrying out development work across all sectors to provide facilities to the people. In Palwal district too, the wheels of development in both urban and rural areas will now move faster, he said.
Appealing to the youth to stay away from drugs, he said that alongside education, they can shape their futures through their talents in sports. Encouraging the district’s youth, Sh. Gaurav Gautam urged them to excel in both education and sports so they can bring glory to their district, village, and family.
