Ahead of Chhattisgarh’s participation in the prestigious Osaka World Expo, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Sai commenced his Tokyo tour on August 22, blending spirituality, technology, and trade diplomacy.
Upon arrival, Chhattisgarh CM Sai visited Tokyo’s historic Asakusa Temple — the city’s oldest and most iconic shrine, symbolizing peace and strength. He offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and development of Chhattisgarh’s 3 crore residents, reflecting aspirations for a peaceful and resilient state.
Driving Innovation in IT
Later, the CM-led delegation met Ms. Kayo Ito, CEO of NTT Ltd., a global IT infrastructure and digital solutions giant with annual revenues of USD 90 billion and operations in over 50 countries. Discussions focused on technology-driven investments in Chhattisgarh, aiming to strengthen the state’s digital ecosystem. NTT, globally recognized for innovations in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions, continues to drive digital transformation worldwide.
Strengthening Cultural Ties and Trade
The day concluded with a formal dinner hosted by Indian Ambassador to Japan, Mr. Sibi George. Conversations emphasized the role of industry in connecting Indo-Pacific nations through trade, promoting economic stability, trade security, environmental balance, and industrial growth. CM Sai highlighted opportunities for industrial collaboration by combining Japan’s advanced technology with India’s skilled workforce and stressed promoting cultural exchanges while positioning Chhattisgarh as a prime tourism destination for Japanese visitors.
