Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu : Chhattisgarh Delegation Departs for Japan & South Korea on ITPO’s Invitation
At the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), a high-level delegation from Chhattisgarh, led by Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Sai, has departed for Japan and South Korea. The visit’s highlight is participation in the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, where Chhattisgarh will showcase its heritage, innovation, and emerging sectors on a global stage.
Showcasing Chhattisgarh at Osaka
On 25–26 August, the delegation will attend the World Expo 2025, visit international pavilions, and hold discussions to highlight opportunities in the state. Chhattisgarh has set up its own pavilion within the Bharat Pavilion, reflecting its cultural heritage, innovative spirit, and growth sectors. This participation marks a significant presence for the state in India’s global representation.
Programme Highlights in Japan & Korea
Prior to Osaka, the team will be in Tokyo (22–24 August) for investor connect sessions with Japanese industry leaders, trade associations, and potential investors. Following the Expo, the visit will continue in Seoul (27–29 August) with business roundtables, sector-specific discussions, and meetings with top Korean companies to explore partnerships.
Chhattisgarh Pavilion – A Story of Growth
The pavilion is designed to showcase the state’s development journey, with a focus on industrial expansion, renewable energy, IT, and sustainable growth models. Officials stated that this global platform will highlight Chhattisgarh’s transformation and its vision for the future.
