Students of a private school in Raipur paid a courtesy call on Chhattisgarh Governor at Raj Bhawan today.
On the occasion, Chhattisgarh Governor guided the children to achieve success in life and career and addressed the queries of the students. The students listened to the Governor’s speech with rapt attention.
Chhattisgarh Governor discussed with the students their dreams and hobbies. “Patience and discipline are the keys to success. If you do not succeed in any exam, keep your options ready. Students want to take the UPSC exam, prepare for it with full diligence but also focus on other options.
Shri Deka said that every student should develop his / her hobby as it helps in building personality. One of the students mentioned her hobby related to music. On this, the Governor said that music is important for life, it also contains science. When the students asked about politics, the Governor said that good people should come into politics. He said that it is important to take the right decision at the right time to solve the challenges and no decision should be taken in anger. He described experience, reasoning and decision-making as the key to success in life.
Shri Deka said that sustainable development is the most important issue. We have to work to save our planet and environment. We need to keep our environment clean. He said that 45 percent of the forest area in Chhattisgarh affects him a lot. The Governor asked the students to study with hard work and dedication and aim to become toppers. He said that the toppers of this year’s board examinations have also been given an incentive of Rs 5,000 by him. On this occasion, Principal of Ryan International School Mrs. Dhaneshwari Sharma, Manager and other staff members along with the students were given a tour of the Raj Bhawan.
