Chhattisgarh NEWS : Known as the energy capital of Chhattisgarh and a mini-India, Korba district has a distinct identity due to the availability of natural mineral resources. Born in village Kohadia (Charpara) of the same Korba district, Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, the Commerce, Industry and Labour Minister of the state, is performing the responsibility of both the departments very well.
More such meetings will be held in the future. The State Investment Promotion Board will continue to work in this direction. A seminar of the National Stock Exchange was organized in the state in July in coordination with the Industries Department. In this seminar, guidance was given to the local industries and companies for listing on the National Stock Exchange to get investment through the stock market. The event proved to be quite helpful as a platform for local companies to issue IPOs through the stock exchange and receive investments. In this seminar, the industry and companies interested in investing were given basic information about their NSE registration, hand handling, technical guidance, preparation of their documentation. Lakhanlal Dewangan, who is in charge of labour, says that the workers and their family members of the state are getting the benefits of the government’s schemes at a rapid pace.
The schemes are being successfully implemented through all the three divisions of the Labour Department – Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Organized Workers State Social Security and Labour Welfare Board. As a result of this, about 500 crore rupees have been transferred to the accounts of workers through DBT through various schemes in the last 1.25 years. Labour Minister Devangan said that it is the intention of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai that the children of the workers should also get an opportunity to move forward like the children of other sections of the society. In the government of Vishnu Dev, the child of the worker will no longer be a worker.
