Chhattisgarh NEWS :The Department of Culture and Official Language has invited applications under the scholarship scheme to encourage economically weak but talented young artists of Chhattisgarh for higher education or training. Entries from interested candidates have been invited through registered post till 30th August 2025.
Eligibility for the scheme requires the applicant to be a native of Chhattisgarh, above 15 years and below 30 years of age. Also, the annual income of the applicant or his family should not exceed Rs 72,000. It is mandatory to register on the portal before applying.
Under the scheme, students / artists who are pursuing education or training in music, dance and performing art forms – whether in a recognised institution or learning traditional folk arts through the guru-shishya parampara – will be provided an incentive amount ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. The amount will be paid through demand draft or e-payment.
