Chhattisgarh NEWS : The Mahtari Vandana Yojana launched by the state government to make the women of the state self-reliant and empower them in every way is proving to be useful and extremely beneficial for the women of the state. The women of the state are using the money received every month from this scheme for treatment, domestic work and other necessary work as well as to provide good education to their children. This ambitious scheme of the state government has become the support of difficult times for rural women Mrs. Manjulata of village Khalari and Mrs. Savita Tekam of village Bangaon of tribal dominated Daundi development block of Balod district.
Using the amount received by these two women every month under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, the scheme is proving to be a saviour in the direction of providing education to their children by helping them to deposit fees for their higher education studies. These two women said that the amount received every month under the Mahtari Vandana Yojana has become a huge support for the education of their children.
Appreciating this scheme of the state government, Mrs. Manjulata, a resident of village Khallari, said that the amount received every month from the Mahtari Vandana Yojana is proving to be useful for me in every way. She is a housewife from a very simple rural family. He and his family earn their living by farming and working hard. His son Devendra Kumar is a second-year BSc student at Government College, Kanker. Due to the poor financial condition of the family, it was very difficult to arrange money for the education of their children before receiving the monthly amount from the Mahtari Vandana Yojana. He and his family could hardly afford to pay for their children’s education. But now, with an amount of Rs. 1, 000 deposited in their account every month under the Mahtari Vandana Yojana, there is no difficulty in arranging funds for the education of their children. In this way, the implementation of the Mahtari Vandana Yojana has removed a huge concern for him and his family. Today they and their families and their children are very happy.
Similarly, this scheme of the state government has also been appreciated by Mrs. Savita Tekam of village Bangaon of Daundi development block. He said that agriculture is the mainstay of his family’s livelihood. Despite their poor financial condition, they have immense love for education among them and their children. But due to the financial condition of the house, it is very difficult to arrange money for the education of the children. At present, the amount received every month under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana is working to give wings and strength to the dreams of me and my family by becoming a support for their children’s education. She has used the money from this scheme to pay for her daughter Kumari Sudha Tekam’s health care training. In this way, this scheme has proved to be a boon for the education of my daughter Sudha and has played an important role in realising her dream.
The two women have hailed the state government’s ambitious scheme as a lifeline for many needy women like them. He thanked Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for this.
