Chhattisgarh NEWS : Chhattisgarh Tourism Board made its remarkable presence in South Asia’s largest travel expo, SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo) 2025. In this grand event held from 19th to 21st February 2025, a special stall was set up to promote the tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh, which attracted the attention of tour operators, investors and tourists from across the country.
During the expo, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Vivek Acharya met officials of the Tourism Department and tour operators from various states. He presented the features of the major tourist destinations of the state including Chitrakote waterfalls, Baranwapara sanctuary, caves of Bastar, Sirpur and Mainpat through a presentation. Also, discussed tourism development and investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
“Chhattisgarh is fast emerging as a major tourism hub due to its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and effective tourism policies of the Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai government. He also informed that the state government is working on new schemes to attract tourists and investors.
Chhattisgarh Tourism Board’s stall at SATTE 2025 was a special attraction where a large number of Tour and Travel agencies, industry experts and tourism enthusiasts participated. The event witnessed an encouraging response to the tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh, making it clear that the state will soon make its mark among the top tourist destinations in the country.
Tour operators and travel agents of different states made spot registration at the stalls of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board so that they can get the benefit of tourism booking under the policies of the board and more and more tourists can visit the beautiful places of Chhattisgarh. This initiative has opened the door to a wide range of future possibilities for the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board.
Chhattisgarh Tourism Board General Manager Vedavrat Sirmaur, Deputy General Manager Sandeep Thakur and other officials were also present at the expo held at Yashobhoomi in Delhi. He met with tour and travel agencies, government officials and investors to discuss in detail the state’s tourism destinations, schemes and investment opportunities.
