Chhattisgarh NEWS : Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh today held a meeting with all the district officers and directed them to dispose of the applications received in Good Governance Tihar expeditiously, qualitatively and seriously. He reviewed the preparations for Good Governance Tihar, Samadhan Shivir, Mor Duar Sai Sarkar etc.
It is known that in the first phase of Good Governance Tihar, from April 8 to April 13, 2025, a total of 1,80,212 applications were received from all five Janpad Panchayats and urban bodies of Mahasamund district.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police Mr Charanjit Singh Sohal, SDM Mr Rahul Sindhu, Joint MC Commissioner Mr Harcharan Singh, Assistant Commissioner Mr Hardeep Singh, ACP Model Town Mr Harinder Singh and others were present. Officials of all the district, block and grama panchayats attended the meeting.
Under the guidance of Collector Shri Vinay Langeh, the first phase of Good Governance Tihar was successfully conducted from 08th to 11th April 2025 in all the five Janpad Panchayats and Urban Bodies of the district. In this four-day Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan, citizens participated in large numbers and enthusiastically shared their problems and needs. From gram panchayats to nagar panchayat offices, people submitted applications related to their problems in the designated solution boxes. These will be resolved by the concerned departments in a phased manner.
It may be mentioned that all the applications received under Good Governance Tihar 2025 are being entered in the software and handed over to the concerned departments and their disposal will be ensured within a month. The Collector said that the review will be done through video conferencing on a regular basis from Monday. Ensure entry to all application portals in the next three days. Applications should be reviewed and sent to the relevant departments within the next three days. The Collector said that it is to ensure disposal of all applications by April 30. He reviewed in detail the applications received by all the departments. During this time, he said that all the officers should be serious in resolving the applications.
The Collector has directed in the meeting to ensure the smooth conduct of Good Governance Tihar and prompt disposal of applications received under it. In the third phase, Samadhan camps will be held in eight to 15 gram panchayats of each district. Camps will also be organized in the bodies as per the need, in which the general public will be informed about the status of their application and the application will also be disposed of as soon as possible. The remaining issues will be resolved in a month’s time. In the Samadhan camps, information about public welfare schemes will be given and application forms of beneficiary schemes will also be made available.
