Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that it is the goal of our government to make the economy of Rajasthan $350 billion by 2030. In achieving this, the time-bound implementation of the MoU signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit is proving to be a milestone. Under the Summit, MoUs worth about Rs 37 lakh crore have been signed, out of which investment agreements worth Rs 3 lakh crore have also been signed. He said that with these investments, the wheels of the chariot of industrial development will move faster and our youth will get ample employment opportunities. He directed the officers to constantly interact with the concerned investors and try to meet their expectations.
Chief Minister Bhajan Sharma was reviewing the progress of MoUs signed in the tourism, medical education, medical and health, textiles and apparel, automobile and electric vehicle (EV) sectors at the Rising Rajasthan Summit at the Chief Minister’s Office on Tuesday. He said that the District Collectors should take quick decisions for allotment of land desired by the investors. At the same time, investors should also explore all possible options for land.
Chief Minister Bhajan said that the state government machinery is working dedicatedly to implement all the MoUs signed during the summit. He directed to appoint nodal officers to speed up the implementation of these MoUs and for better coordination between the departments. Shri Sharma said that these officers should take quick action by studying the technical aspects along with continuous review of the MoU. He said that the State Government expects all the investors to complete all the projects within the stipulated time frame.
The new tourism policy will boost tourism in the state.
Chief Minister Bhajan Sharma said that tourism industry is an important contributor to the economy of the State. The State Government has recently implemented an ambitious Tourism Policy with an aim to promote tourism activities which will give the desired impetus to tourism in the State and ensure all round development of tourist destinations. He said that Rajasthan is moving fast opening new doors of possibilities in eco, rural, heritage, adventure tourism as well as religious tourism. Rajasthan has emerged as a favourite destination on the world tourism map. Our government is working with commitment to increase employment opportunities in this sector.
Golden Opportunities for Youth in the Medical Field
The Chief Minister said that strengthening of quality health services from village, dhani to towns is the main goal of our government. He said that there are also golden career opportunities for the youth in this field as there is a constant need for skilled medical personnel in the country and the world. Chief Minister Bhajan said that the medical colleges and hospitals to be opened under the MoU signed in the medical and health sector during the Rising Rajasthan Summit will further strengthen the medical infrastructure of the state.
Reviewing the implementation of the MoU in the automobile and electric vehicle sector, Chief Minister Bhajan said that due to the limitation of natural resources, the utility of electric vehicles is increasing in the present times. He said that the government is addressing the key issues of investors through a single window.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Sudhanshu Pant and senior officers of various departments. Also, various district collectors were connected through VCs.
