Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav: directed officials to formulate a concrete strategy to make Madhya Pradesh completely free from Naxalism by March 2026.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is the primary responsibility of collectors to maintain law and order as they are the administrative heads of districts and also the district magistrates. He asked that collectors and superintendents of police (SPs) to develop their own effective intelligence systems in their respective districts so that information about any incident or accident can be received immediately and timely action can be taken. He emphasized on reaching the spot without delay to prevent escalation and to help bring the situation under control.
He stressed the need for better coordination between collectors and SPs, urging them to jointly formulate strategies to monitor law and order. Sensitive areas where narrow roads pose difficulties for force movement should be identified, and a plan should be prepared within three months with the help of local municipal bodies to ensure easy access during emergencies.

Naxal-Free MP by March 2026

Addressing the final session of the Collectors-Commissioners Conference 2025, here today he laid stress on the importance of sensitive policing and building public trust in the police. He said that collectors and SPs of Balaghat, Mandla, and Dindori should work with a focused approach to eradicate Naxal activities in the coming six months. Naxal elements must either surrender or be eliminated. He appreciated the Balaghat administration for reducing Naxal activity so effectively that the Ministry of Home Affairs has downgraded the district from “highly Naxal-affected” to a normal category. Over 200 youth from affected villages were employed with companies like L&T, helping them reintegrate into society. Eight encounters this year have resulted in the elimination of ten Naxals.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav instructed police and other agencies to act jointly to identify and deport illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, noting that 19 have already been deported. He urged strict enforcement against illegal infiltration.
