Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Economic Survey of Madhya Pradesh for the year 2024-25 is a proof of Madhya Pradesh is progressively moving on the path of development. Various indices are a symbol of progress of the state. These the contribution of the positive attitude of the citizens along with the efforts of the government. Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead in accordance with the mantra of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that while the gross domestic product of Madhya Pradesh at current prices in the year 2023-24 was Rs 13 lakh 53 thousand 809 crore, it has increased by 11.05%. The gross domestic product has now increased to Rs 15 lakh 03 thousand 395 crore. This progress reflects the strong economy and overall development of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working to make the state self-reliant, prosperous and developed; in this direction we have set a target to double the GDP by the year 2028-29.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there is no doubt that the Economic Survey of Madhya Pradesh for the year 2024-25 is indicative of the economic strength and overall progress of the state. The GDP of Madhya Pradesh at constant prices in the year 2023-24 was Rs 6 lakh 71 thousand 636 crore, which has increased to Rs 7 crore 12 lakh 260 crore in the year 2024-25 with an increase of 6.05%. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is working towards fulfilling the resolution of developed Madhya Pradesh by giving new strength to the economy of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this survey is going to define the prosperity of the citizens. If we mention the per capita income of Madhya Pradesh, it has become Rs 1 lakh 52 thousand 615 at current prices in the year 2024-25. Even at stable prices, the per capita income in the year 2024-25 is Rs 70 thousand 434. The Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working to make the state self-reliant and developed with the resolve of economic prosperity and public welfare.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this survey is a reflection of the strong economic policies of the state government and the continuously developing economy. The sector-wise share in the gross value addition of Madhya Pradesh at current prices in the year 2024-25 has been 44.36 percent in the primary sector, 19.03 percent in the secondary sector and 36.61 percent in the tertiary sector respectively. These figures reflect the balanced and continuously progressive economy of Madhya Pradesh, where proper development is taking place in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors due to the efforts of the government.
