Chief Minister Dr. Yadav : Jan Samvad must to solve public problems
- Inspection of night shelters must be conducted
- An assembly-wise review should be done

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has instructed all the MLAs to prepare a vision document (roadmap) to develop their respective areas. He said that all the MLAs should hold Jan-Samvads with the regional officers regarding the redressal of public grievances. The results of the Jan-Kalyan Abhiyan must be assessed and ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. For this, it is necessary to go among the people, communicate with them, know their problems and take immediate steps to solve them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the review meeting of the ongoing development activities and major construction works in the Indore division on Thursday.
Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan, Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and other regional MLAs and public representatives participated virtually in the meeting from their respective areas. In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Shri S.N. Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Smt. Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami and other senior officers were present.
Officers and Public Representatives instructed to Stay Overnight in Villages
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives present in the meeting that they should visit the field as much as possible to get feedback on the government schemes. Public representatives should spend the night in remote villages (especially tribal villages) along with regional officials. Talk to the villagers there and solve their problems. Given the increasing cold day by day, the Chief Minister directed the collector and district officials to conduct surprise inspections of night shelters. Provide blankets and warm clothes to the needy. No one should face any difficulty due to cold.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if the MLAs want, they can also do some innovation for the development of the area. Implement innovative activities which will give maximum benefit to the public. He said that now the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of all the divisions will hold district-wise review meetings. This will provide all the MLAs ample opportunity to put forward the major demands and sensitive issues of their respective areas. He said that all the collectors should now hold assembly-wise review meetings. Discuss with all the MLAs of the district and also cooperate in making the vision document of their assembly constituency.
Complete construction of previously approved CM Rise Schools
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while reviewing the construction of CM Rise Schools, said that whatever construction work is still pending in previously approved CM Rise Schools should be completed first on priority. Subsequently, a proposal should be taken for the construction of new CM Rise Schools.
Will discuss with Maharashtra government for completion of Tapti-Chhillur mega project
Information was given about the Tapti-Chhillur mega irrigation project of Khandwa district in the review of the Water Resources Department. On this, MLA from Harsud of Khandwa district and Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah urged the Chief Minister to approve this project as soon as possible. The Chief Minister assured him that work on this will be started as soon as possible. If necessary, he will also discuss with the Maharashtra government regarding the project. It is worth mentioning that on completion of this mega irrigation project costing about Rs 26 thousand 279 crore, permanent facility of crop irrigation and water recharging will be available in 81 thousand 600 hectares of the concerned area.
Speed up the work of Jal Jeevan Mission
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the works being carried out under Jal Jeevan Mission in Indore division. He said that the incomplete works should be completed on priority. Jal Jeevan Mission is a campaign directly connected to the public. If there is any problem in the implementation of this campaign, then it should be resolved through mutual dialogue and coordination. He said that he will review the progress of the work going on under Jal Jeevan Mission in the entire state by January 20. It was told that against the 3205.83 km road dug under Nal-Jal Yojana in the districts under Indore division, the restoration work of 3166.81 km road has been completed in a quality manner till now. The restoration work of the remaining road will be completed after testing the pipeline.
Current four-lane Indore-Ujjain route will be converted into a six-lane route
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inquired about the progress made so far in converting the four-lane Indore-Ujjain route into a six-lane route. It was informed that a contract has been signed with the construction agency for this work. Pre-construction activities are also being carried out at a fast pace by the designated construction agency as per the contract. The Indore MP demanded that the Indore-Depalpur route be made a four-lane route. It was also informed in the meeting that currently 6 expressways are planned in Madhya Pradesh, in which the construction of Narmada Pragati Path, Vindhya Expressway, Malwa-Nimar Vikas Path, Bundelkhand Vikas Path, Atal Pragati Path and Madhya Bharat Vikas Path is in progress.
Suggestions can be given to the Delimitation Commission
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the MPs and MLAs who were virtually connected in the meeting that if they want to change the division or district of their district or tehsil in the public interest on the basis of regional population or geographical level, then they can give their suggestions in writing to the Delimitation Commission constituted by the state government. The Delimitation Commission will take the final decision on the suggestions received.
Give proposals to convert big Gram Panchayats into Nagar Parishad
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is serious about converting big Gram Panchayats into Nagar Parishad. All the MLAs should give proposals to convert all such big Gram Panchayats of their area into Nagar Parishad. The government will take appropriate decision on the proposals for the benefit of the population and in public interest.
