Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is working to provide dignity and facilities to all farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Mohan announced that very soon, over 20 lakh farmers will be provided with solar power pumps, freeing them permanently from the problem of electricity bills. CM Dr. Yadav addressed the inauguration and Bhoomi-Pujan ceremony at Rajoudha village in Morena district on Sunday.
Chief Minister Mohan said that farmers in the state are being provided an annual honorarium of Rs. 12,000—Rs. 6,000 each from the Central and State Governments. He further announced that all Ladli Behnas will receive a monthly assistance of Rs. 1,500, starting from Bhai-Dooj after Diwali.
CM Dr. Yadav said, highlighting the government’s efforts in the field of education, that arrangements are being made so every child in the state can study well. Students scoring over 75% in board exams are given laptops, and meritorious students receive scooters. Bicycles and uniforms are also being provided. He said “, Our aim is the all-round development of the state, ensuring that no region is left behind”.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth over Rs. 52.59 crore. This included the inauguration of the newly constructed Sandipani School building costing Rs. 38.67 crore, and the foundation-laying of a new Government College building at a cost of Rs. 14.92 crore. Dr. Yadav announced that this college will be named after Maharaja Man Singh Tomar, and that all essential faculties and courses will be started here soon.
Marking the occasion of Radhashtami, the Chief Minister said it was a matter of pride for the government to inaugurate the Sandipani School building, named after Lord Krishna’s Guru Sandipani. He further noted that a medical college was recently sanctioned for the neighboring Sheopur district, and Morena is also progressing rapidly on the path of development.
Chief Minister Mohan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the nation is undergoing rapid transformation. While Morena has produced great leaders like Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, earlier governments neglected the Chambal region, promoted dacoity, and ruined the future of the youth. CM Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is being developed as a hub of religious tourism, with Sandipani schools being established in cities across the state. Referring to the life of Lord Krishna, he emphasised that Krishna gave the message that power should not be used for oppression, but for public welfare.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that under CM Dr. Yadav’s dedication and sensitivity, the wave of development has reached every village. He recalled that Dr. Yadav himself had announced the opening of this college, which is currently functioning from a school building with over 240 girl students in the B.A. faculty. The new building will also have Science and Commerce faculties, directly benefiting over 500 students. He noted that the Sandipani School, built at a cost of Rs. 27 crore, has world-class facilities rarely found even in big cities.
Member of Parliament Shri Shivmangal Singh Tomar praised the Chief Minister’s leadership and said that the chain of modern schools being developed will provide high-quality education to the youth of the Chambal region. He added that this institution will bring glory to the area at the national and international levels. He also highlighted the spiritual heritage of the region, mentioning saints like Maharaj Shri Lochandas, Maharaj Shri Ramdas, Shri Balkadas, Shri Makhandasji and Rishiji.
During the event, New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, public representatives, officials, students and a large number of villagers were present.
CM Perfors Puja at Asmani Mata Temple in Oredi Village
During his Morena visit, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also offered prayers at the famous Asmani Mata Temple in Oredi village, Porsa tehsil, and prayed for the prosperity and welfare of Madhya Pradesh. Oredi is the ancestral village of Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar. At the family deity’s temple, the Chief Minister participated in religious rituals and interacted warmly with devotees.
On this occasion, Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, Shri Shivmangal Singh Tomar, dignitaries, public representatives and villagers were present.
