Chief Minister Mohan Yadav :District Mineral Foundation Resources Should Primarily Benefit Tribal-Dominated Districts
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted that the state’s tribal-dominated districts are rich in mineral resources, and development initiatives under the District Mineral Foundation should be focused on these regions. He emphasized that infrastructure projects should be planned based on the specific needs and conditions of each district.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav underscored the importance of establishing helipads in all districts to enhance disaster and emergency response capabilities. Additionally, he directed that districts lacking stadiums should receive necessary support for sports infrastructure development.
Presiding over a District Mineral Foundation meeting at his residence, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stressed that key sectors such as healthcare, drinking water, education, skill development, and environmental conservation must be given top priority. He also instructed officials to create district-specific models aimed at improving panchayat buildings, educational institutions, and hospital complexes with essential amenities.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called for the preparation of concept plans for all assembly constituencies, advocating for increased participation of MLAs in planning development projects. He further emphasized the need for balanced growth across all districts, ensuring optimal utilization of District Mineral Foundation resources.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary of Minerals Mr. Umakant Umrao, Principal Secretary of Planning, Economics & Statistics Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary of Finance Mr. Manish Rastogi, and other senior officials.
