Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today paid tribute to Shaheed Gendsingh on his martyrdom day by offering flowers at his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence office. Remembering the supreme sacrifice of the brave Gendsingh for India’s independence, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Gendsingh, the zamindar of Paralkot, had launched the freedom movement against the exploitation by British officials. Gendsingh resisted the British and opposed their policies in his region.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai urged everyone to remember Martyr Gendsingh and resolve to follow his path, contributing to societal upliftment. He emphasized that the unforgettable sacrifice made by Gendsingh, a hero of the liberation movement who fought for the rights of the tribal brothers and sisters of Bastar, will continue to inspire all to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.
On this occasion, the President of the All India Halba Halbi Tribal Society Chhattisgarh Central Assembly, Shri Devendra Mahla, Shri I.R. Dehari, and other members were present.
